Tinkerbell playground (within Pinkerton Park) has recently received a facelift.  Come on down, and see it, or better yet go play.  Tinkerbell is fun for “kids” of all ages.

(Century Court is located off Columbia Avenue, the second stop light north of Mack Hatcher Bypass).

Free Shredding of personal documents that could be used for identity theft:

Investments Statements
( mutual funds, IRA’s, stocks, etc.)

Canceled Checks

Credit Card Statements

Pay Check Stubs

Insurance Documents

IRS Forms

Papers that do not contain a personal identification number will NOT be accepted such as newspaper, magazines and photos.

Please bring your documents in paper bags or cardboard boxes that can be recycled. Documents in plastic bags will not be accepted.

Remove heavy metal: clips/clamps, 3 ring binders, wire binding. Hard bound documents should be no larger than one inch thick. Thicker bundles jam the shredder. Documents with paper clips and staples are accepted.

The large shredders at the recycle facility will shred your important documents and recycle all of the resulting materials.

Identity theft is becoming more and more common everyday and you can do things to help ensure that it does not happen to you. One of the best ways is to shred all personal documents containing information about you and your investments, where you work, insurance, etc.
